The Institute of Processes, Chinese Academy of Sciences reported on the progress of the ionic liquid method of triamine tail gas ammonia-carbon separation project. In order to reasonably promote the industrialization of the project before the end of the year, it determined the important work of the next engineering design, industrial production equipment purchase, construction and installation. It is planned to carry out purge, pressure test and commissioning in November, and it will be fully put into operation in December.
The two sides conducted exchanges and guidance on the research and development projects of high-grade triamine fibers and films that the two sides are vigorously developing. The next step is to optimize the preparation process of triamine flame-retardant film and high-grade fiber, improve material mechanics, flame retardancy and processability, install and construct the demonstration line, and complete the commissioning and operation of the triamine film demonstration line a year ago. The test uses melamine as the main raw material, uses its flame retardant, high temperature resistance, insulation and environmental protection characteristics, and adopts internationally advanced ionic liquid green synthesis technology to prepare triamine flame-retardant films and high-grade fibers to make them free from fire. It can be widely used in work uniforms, labor insurance uniforms, combat uniforms, fire-fighting uniforms and other fields. It can also be made into a degradable mulch to suppress the white pollution of the land. At the meeting, in order to fully recycle the CO2 separated from the melamine tail gas, realize the full utilization of the company's ammonia carbon resources, form a new circular economy industrial chain, and increase the added value of melamine products, the two parties discussed the process and technology for developing new CO2 products. The process uses CO2 and methanol as raw materials, and ethylene glycol as a recycling agent to synthesize new carbonate products with great market potential. Recent work is to determine the synthesis process route, develop high-efficiency catalysts and optimize the process, determine the process parameters, establish the preliminary process flow, and complete the feasibility analysis of the new process route.
In view of the good cooperative relationship and project requirements between the two parties, in order to further strengthen cooperation, the two parties plan to establish a joint laboratory of 5000 square meters in Shuntian Chemical and build the "Chinese Academy of Sciences-Shuntian Chemical Green Chemical Technology Demonstration Plant and Science and Education Practice Base". The two parties cooperate in production, education and research to develop new downstream products and technologies of melamine, and provide pilot/sideline bases for new technologies.
