The Process Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences reported on the progress of the ammonia carbon separation project for the tail gas of the ionic liquid method triamine. In order to reasonably promote the industrialization of the project by the end of the year, it has determined the urgent work of the next step of engineering design, procurement of industrial production equipment, and construction and installation. Purging, pressure testing, and commissioning are planned to be carried out in November, and fully operational in December.
Both sides exchanged and guided on the research and development project of high-end triamine fibers and films vigorously carried out by both parties. The next main task is to optimize the preparation process of triamine flame retardant films and high-end fibers, improve material mechanics, flame retardancy, and processability, install and construct demonstration lines, and complete the debugging and operation of the triamine film demonstration line by the year. This experiment uses melamine as the main raw material, utilizing its flame retardancy, high temperature resistance, insulation, and environmental protection characteristics. The internationally advanced ionic liquid method green synthesis process is used to prepare triamine flame retardant films and high-end fibers, enabling them to achieve self extinguishing and degradable functions. They can be widely used in fields such as work clothes, labor protection clothes, combat clothes, and firefighting clothes, and can also be made into degradable film to suppress the problem of white soil pollution, This research and development is of great significance for improving national environmental governance and the safety of people's lives and property.
At the meeting, in order to fully recover and utilize the CO2 separated from melamine tail gas, achieve full utilization of ammonia and carbon resources in enterprises, form a new circular economy industry chain, and increase the added value of melamine products, both parties discussed the process and technology for developing new CO2 products. This process uses CO2 and methanol as raw materials, and ethylene glycol as a circulating agent to synthesize a new carbonate product with great market potential. The recent work is to determine the synthesis process route, develop efficient catalysts and optimize the process, determine process parameters, establish preliminary process flow, and complete the feasibility analysis of the new process route.
In view of the good cooperation relationship and project needs between both parties, in order to further strengthen cooperation, both parties plan to establish a 5000 square meter joint laboratory in Shuntian Chemical and build a "Chinese Academy of Sciences Shuntian Chemical Green Chemical Technology Demonstration Plant and Science and Education Practice Base". On the one hand, they will strengthen cooperation between industry, academia and research, develop new products and technologies downstream of melamine, and provide pilot/side line bases for new technologies. On the other hand, they will serve as joint teaching for both parties Internship base, jointly cultivating technical backbone undergraduate/graduate students, serving enterprise development and scientific research and teaching. The two sides plan to jointly apply for the provincial key laboratory in Shandong, and then apply for the State Key Laboratory, so as to provide a higher platform foundation for scientific research cooperation between the two sides. In addition, the two sides also reached an agreement on the all-round cooperation in ionic liquid production, smart factory projects, laboratory and science and education platform construction, Mount Taishan leading talent application, and enterprise mentors of the process institute, so as to promote the development of scientific research cooperation between the two sides in a deeper and closer direction.
Both sides firmly believe that with the strong scientific research strength and innovative spirit of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as the solid industrial foundation and practical experience of Shuntian Chemical, the path of scientific research cooperation and development between the two sides will become wider and more practical.
