On January 12th, Shuntian Chemical signed a technology development cooperation agreement with the Zhengzhou Branch of the Process Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to develop new products for melamine fiber and film using ionic liquid method. The signing of this agreement marks the transformation and development of Shuntian Chemical's triamine technology towards technological new materials.
On January 20, the annual meeting of Shuntian Group on innovation and development management in 2020 was held grandly. The meeting issued the 2020 annual task goals, and the exemplary organization and exemplary individual who have made outstanding achievements were commended grandly, with cash and silver medals awarded respectively.
On February 9th, Jiang Shili, a member of the Standing Committee of the Linyi Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Organization Department, visited Shuntian Chemical to investigate the new project, accompanied by Jiang Ning, Secretary of the Yinan County Party Committee, and Liu Yuanhao, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone.
On February 24th, the groundbreaking ceremony for Shuntian Chemical's "Annual Production of 200000 tons of Melamine and New Technology Materials Project" was grandly held, with leaders including Jiang Ning, Secretary of the Yinan County Party Committee, and Sun Deshi, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Mayor, attending the ceremony.
On February 26th, Jiang Shili, a member of the Standing Committee of the Linyi Municipal Committee and Minister of Organization Department, visited the company to investigate the construction of new projects and demanded that enterprises and departments at all levels fully promote the construction of new projects.
On March 6th, the provincial "Four Entries" working group, led by Comrade Chu Mingfeng, the deputy director of the Provincial Committee of Finance and Economics, conducted a research on the development of Shuntian Chemical Industry, accompanied by Jiang Ning, the secretary of the Yinan County Party Committee.
On March 8, the Group held a grand symposium and artistic performance to celebrate the "March 8" International Women's Day, and 121 female employees attended the conference, showing a new image of women workers sisters who are united and innovative. On March 17th, the construction of the new office building of Shuntian Chemical began. On September 10th, the new office building was officially put into use, giving the company a new look and marking a new milestone in its development history.

On April 1st, the on-site observation meeting of the key work project "Hundred Day Battle" in Yinan County was held at Shuntian Chemical. Members of the county-level leadership team, including County Party Secretary Jiang Ning and Deputy Secretary and County Mayor Sun Deshi, attended the meeting.
On April 25th, the second "Kong Shun Culture Learning Speech" event of Shuntian Chemical was held fiercely in the first conference room. After selection, Mao Ying, Xue Junpeng, Wang Shipeng, and Sun Hanzheng won the first prize.
On April 28th, in order to liven up the leisure and sports activities of employees, the group company organized tug of war, fixed point shooting, 100 meter balance running, standing long jump, fire emergency and other competitive activities, which trained the team spirit of employees' unity and cooperation, and the courage to strive for first place.
On April 29, the Group Company held a grand "May Day Celebration Model Worker Commendation Conference and Arts Performance". On April 30th, a cooperation and exchange meeting between Shuntian Chemical and the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was held in Beijing. The two sides discussed eight cooperation projects, including ammonia carbon separation and melamine fiber and film projects, dimethyl carbonate, and smart factories. On May 3rd, Liu Qiang, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Governor of Shandong Provincial Government, visited Shuntian Chemical for research. On May 9th, the Emergency Bureau of Linyi City organized experts to review the "Level 2 Safety Standardization Enterprise" declared by Shuntian Chemical. It was successfully approved on June 10th, marking a new level of safety production management for the company.
On June 4th, the "New Technology for Separation and Recovery of Ammonia from Ionic Liquid Triamine Tail Gas" developed by the company successfully passed the appraisal, organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China Petroleum and Chemical Federation.
From June 16th to 18th, the company successfully passed the certification audit of the quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and energy four in one management system.
On June 23rd, Shuntian Chemical held a safety knowledge competition and a safety development speech competition titled "Eliminating Accident Hazards and Strengthening Safety Defense Lines". The representative team of the synthetic ammonia workshop won the first prize in the safety knowledge competition, and Xue Junpeng won the first prize in the speech competition.
On June 27th, the "Ankang Cup" chemical industry safety emergency rescue drill in Yinan County was held at Shuntian Chemical, with the participation of Yinan County Federation of Trade Unions, County Emergency Bureau, Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, Economic Development Zone, and county chemical enterprises.
On July 1st, the "Celebration of the 99th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China and the July 1st Commendation Conference" of Shuntian Group was grandly held, with over 100 party member representatives attending. On July 23rd, the third member representative conference of the Shuntian Group Trade Union was held, and a new union election was held to elect members of the third trade union committee, funding review committee, and female employee committee.

On August 27th, Shuntian Chemical successfully passed the qualification review for independent certification of enterprise technical talents.
On September 28th, a cooperation and exchange meeting between Shuntian Chemical and the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was held in Beijing. Academician Zhang Suojiang, the director of the Institute of Process Engineering, presided over the meeting, and Yue Qingqu, the chairman of the company, and Chen Defu, the general manager, attended the meeting. At the meeting, the focus was on discussing the prospects and feasibility of projects such as synthesizing carbonates and biodegradable plastic cyclohexene carbonate (PCHC).
On October 17th, the Shuntian Chemical Management Personnel Speech Competition was fiercely held, with 34 speech contestants participating. After comprehensive selection, Sun Fushai, Wang Silei, and Yu Wenjie won the first prize.
On November 4th, the group company held a special training session on "enhancing the sense of responsibility" for management personnel. Chairman Yue Qingqu proposed for the first time the "Five Degrees" principle for management personnel, which requires height, depth, strength, speed, and loyalty in work.
On November 7th, the 110kV Shuntian Chemical Power Transmission and Transformation Project successfully delivered electricity, further improving power supply reliability and reducing electricity costs.
On November 24th, Shuntian Chemical started its military training activity with the theme of "unity and cooperation, seriousness and liveliness, common development, and courage to move forward". It exercised for half an hour every day to promote employees' physical fitness and enthusiasm for the company's development and construction.
On December 24th, Comrade Qi Kepin, a member of the Party Group and a fourth level researcher of the Linyi Municipal Emergency Bureau, led a team to visit the site of Shuntian Chemical for observation.
